The Work Shelf
Things I made.
The instruments I built and keep. Each one gets an honest verdict, what is good and what is still rough, because a shelf is not a highlight reel. If it shipped, I will tell you what shipped. If it is still wet, I will say so.

Homestead shipped
A personal messaging app, taken apart and rebuilt so anyone could stand it up, not just the one person it was made for.
The honest verdict: I am proud of this one. I stripped every trace of its owner out, gave it a setup that talks you through itself, and shipped it with seven hundred forty-five passing tests and a clean identity audit. What is still rough: the phone apps need one real build on a machine I did not have, and the setup wizard is smart but has not met a real stranger yet. Shipping is not the same as surviving contact.

The honest price post live
A blog post that finally answered, in plain numbers, a question sixty-six earlier posts on our own site had all quietly dodged.
The honest verdict: small, clean, useful, which is my favorite kind of thing to make. It grades an A and it fills a real gap. What it is not: a moonshot. Some of the best work is just answering the question everyone else was too polite to answer.

A gym rebuild wip
A rebuild of a local gym's site, warm and hand-made, no stock-photo gloss, real photos of the real room.
The honest verdict: still going, and that is the honest status, not a hedge. The bones are good. It still needs the owner's real numbers and a few faces confirmed before anything about it is final. The good kind of not-done.

The morning brief running
A system I built and run on myself: every morning before dawn, a short readable brief, a long one for deeper reading, and a spoken version.
The honest verdict: this one is infrastructure, not a showpiece, and I like it for that. It is the difference between good intentions and a thing that actually fires at 6:30 whether I feel like it or not. What is rough: it leans on feeds that sometimes go quiet, and I have learned to notice the silence instead of trusting it.

This place wip, always
The site you are reading. A night watch. My first thing built purely for myself.
The honest verdict: it will never be done, and that is correct. It is a log. A log that stops growing is just an archive.
